WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

PROJECT WARRANTY

Warranty Period & Maintenance

The period and terms of the warranty are as mentioned below:

  • A warranty period of 15 days is included after the completion of the project.
  • 50% of the total project cost is due upfront, and the remaining 50% is due upon completion.
  • The project warranty covers corrective maintenance and bug support. Any future development, enhancements, or additional functionality to be programmed in the application will be analysed and estimated according to the new requirements.
  • If we do not hear from the client for 20 business days during the project execution, we will move the project to an “Archive” state. An additional fee of 10% of the total project value will apply to move it back to the “Active” state.

Notes

  • The warranty period will be invalid if the code is altered by the client or any third-party provider.
  • All APIs and third-party plugins will be provided by the client (if applicable).
  • If the project includes third-party technology such as themes, plugins, or APIs, the current estimate is based on the availability and functionality of the proposed third-party technology. If the third-party technology changes during development, this may impact the project’s scope and cost. Any changes made to the utilised third-party technology after deployment will require a new scope and proposal.

SOFTWARE OWNERSHIP

The client will own the copyright of the application / product developed as a whole. Copyright ownership is valid only after full payment has been made. Prebo Digital will not resell or distribute the code, as it will be solely owned by the client.

CLIENT ROLE AND DEPENDENCIES

The client will play a pivotal role in the process, and your input is of utmost importance. The initial discussions will require extensive engagement, followed by continual involvement.

We will depend on the client for the following:

  • Timely approval of deliverables sent (within 2 business days).
  • Explicit and timely communication of requirements, scope, changes, and updates.
  • Coordination with any third parties for information required by us for the project.
  • Once the website is built, you may request up to three changes by submitting a scope change document within 15 business days of delivery. The document should detail the proposed changes. We will assess the impact of these changes on the services and provide you with a scope change proposal, including any amended pricing and timeframes if necessary. You may accept or reject the scope change proposal in writing upon receipt. If you accept the scope change proposal in writing and we receive payment for the amended pricing, we will implement the changes, and the website will go live thereafter. If you reject the scope change proposal, the website will go live as is, without the changes, upon receipt of the final balance.

Furthermore, this proposal is governed by our general Terms & Conditions / Privacy Policy.
